Jo Salmon
Managing Director
Jo has over 20 years’ experience in managing group service functions covering Health and Safety, HR, IT, business management systems and procurement; with the last three years working at Director level. As Managing Director, Jo is also responsible for the strategic direction of the business, combining her Group Services experience to build relationships with new Customers and enhance the relationships with our current Customers and stakeholders; whilst ensuring we continue to meet our safety, quality environmental objectives.
Jo is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) and Institute of Asphalt Technology (IAT) and was previously a member of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association Midlands Region Council.
Jamie Thornton
Company Owner
Jamie has over 25 years’ experience in asphalt surfacing and highway maintenance, covering all sectors and types of Customers.
As the ultimate owner of DJT Surfacing and Operations Director, Jamie draws on his technical and operational knowledge to collaboratively develop innovative solutions for our Customers and maintains these relationships throughout the project or contract lifecycle to ensure excellent customer focus.
Ryan Lydon
Operations Director
Ryan is a strong operational leader with excellent skills in commercial and project management, ensuring our workforce operates safely and reliably. With 20 years of experience in asphalt surfacing and highway maintenance, Ryan brings unmatched expertise that allows us to provide customers with the right resources at the right time, tailored to meet each project’s specific requirements.
Ryan takes a strategic role in identifying contract opportunities and directing our commercial and operational resources to provide an excellent level of service across each stage of a project or contract.
