DJT Surfacing are accredited to install IronGuard in accordance with BBA HAPAS (Certificate 14/H223) which has a five-year warranty against durability; providing the surrounding pavement remains structurally sound.
Bituminous repair system
IronGuard is a polymer-based bituminous repair system that meets the requirements of HD27/04 and HA014/09; comprising a bedding mortar and interlocking blocks that supports the structure of the manhole frame or gully to prevent early life failure.
Fast setting properties
The fast-cooling characteristics means completed IronGuard reinstatements can be reopened to live traffic after two hours; reducing impact to road users.
High PSV stone for increased skid resistance
IronGuard can use pre-coated or un-coated chippings to achieve a surface friction in excess of 60 PSV for safety-sensitive parts of the road network.
